This video explains how important it is to a child learning language to hear a large variety of words. For example they show statistics, and it demonstrates how parents play a big role in the development. For example, professional parents children scored the highest. Whereas parents who are on welfare didn't score too high. In the video they say that the words they acquire will affect their IQ scores later in life. They later explain the brain functions, and the gap that children have is also shown in the brain as well. I would definitely learn more about this topic, because it is interesting ad I like learning about how children function.

This article brings up important points for example, the languages that do not have a way to be turned into writing are forgotten. The reason being, because people now use writing to communicate. For example, text email or social media. To me it is unfair that some languages die due to our modernization in technology. I would definitely study more about this topic, and I recommend others as well. If we have a language other than English in our family we should continue using it by teaching our children. It would mean that our children multilingual, and how cool is that?

http://examples.yourdictionary.com/20-examples-of-slang-language.html

This article is about the slang some teenagers use today. Slang has existed for a very long time it just evolve as time passes. It is important for language, because with all of the slang words being used by teenagers and even parents it can make a whole new language. If I were to speak with the modern slang to my 80 year old grandfather he would most likely like at me as if I am speaking a different language. I would definitely research more on this topic, and well we all pretty much do while using social media.
