This article  is so interesting. I chose it because humans aren't the only ones who make noise to communicate or to speak. Elephants are one example of animals who communicate by sound. I like how they refer to them as drama queens. I would definitely look into this it is very cool. This effects the world, because if animals couldn't communicate how would they live. They wouldn't be able to reproduce either.

We have been learning and reading a lot about idioms, but this article explains a different side of them. To us idioms are easy to understand but to those who are learning how to speak English will find it difficult. The article points out that idioms have culture and background information in them. This article relates to what chapter four talks about "idioms". I definitely agree with the article because my mother learned how to speak English at an older age and so she sometimes gets confused with idioms people use. This affects the world, because in every language there are idioms and to be able to be a part of a culture you must understand their language.
