Blog 1

I chose this video because it is very important to know that language is a big part of childhood development. There is a process to learning how to speak and this video addresses it.
Something important about this video is when a baby is in the womb they can hear us. Speaking or singing to a baby even before they are born can make a difference. When they are younger than twelve months having a conversation with them makes them feel like the parent cares.
This video is very interesting and it caught my attention. I learned about some of these things in psychology and it has interested me since.
My topic is very important because it informs about how we develop language, and also it shows expecting parents about what techniques work.

I am

Hi
My name is  Jennifer Trevizo, and I am taking this class to complete my certificate in foreign language. Eventually, I want to be a Biology high school teacher, and after I want to go back to school to continue my studies in Biology. Spanish is my  primary language; I learned how to write and speak it well by going to church. That was the only place I really had to write in Spanish. When I was a little girl my dad would have me read the bible to him in Spanish and so that helped me learn how to read better.
I am interested in many things like sports, crafts, and church. This is what I mostly focus my  time on. My favorite sport to watch is football and my favorite sport to play is Volleyball. When I am bored and want to stay in I usually go on Pinterest or Twitter and that keeps me entertained.
